Magical Etsy Find :: Mama West Wind’s waldorf-inspired peg dolls
From deep within an enchanted forest in the southwest United States come Mama West Wind‘s delightful waldorf-inspired gnomes, animals and other magical peg dolls.
Becca, Mama West Wind herself, is a mixed-media artist with a love of fibres and also holds a Masters of Fine Art in painting. She is a stay at home mama to her two young boys, and it was after the birth of her first son that she discovered a love for making toys.
Each one of her little creations is perfect for a nature table, story-telling or playtime with gentle hands. A wooden peg doll clothed in felted wool with embroidery thread embellishments; the natural and upcycled materials result in gnomes and woodland creatures where no two are alike. Comfortably at home next to gathered nuts, driftwood and stones, or perhaps clutched tightly in a little hand and off on an afternoon adventure, each one of Mama West Wind‘s little peg dolls will delight all who come across them!
Mama West Wind also has a wonderful blog. You must go and have a look…
