A Morris Whisper for 2013
“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” – William Morris *
The whisper I have heard from corners in our house is setting the tone for 2013, this bright new year. It seems like such a simple idea, but with some fairly major decluttering and rearranging underfoot, it is anything but simple. It is, however, what I will strive for this coming year. To fill our little home with only with those things that we truly use or find satisfying to the soul to have around…and if something is useful and beautiful. Bonus marks, I think.
So, after a busy December and a Christmas that just flew by, I am once again looking forward with anticipation to what this year will bring for our family.
Welcome 2013!
* To be perfectly honest, I don’t know whether he whispered it at all. He may in fact have declared it, possibly just stated it, or perhaps even yawned it on his way to bed.

love this!
Thanks! It’s certainly going to keep us busy – all this decluttering!
